Short Version of Hama’avir Shaiana… Hagomel… (Yeshiva 5780). This is not a Bracha for physical vision but for spiritual vision, the clarity to go through life, live in the world, make a living (with Hashem’s kindness,) and not stumble. We ask not to be tested, not to shame ourselves and affect Chilul Hashem, but to be a source for Kiddush Hashem.
Wednesday 17 Adar 2 5774/ March 19 2014. Hama’avir Shaina, Class One. The difference between a long Bracha and a short one. Different versions of this Bracha, and different opinions as to when it is said. Is this Bracha for all types of Hashem’s kindness or only for the blessing of the eyes.

WEDNESDAY 30 NISSAN 5774/ APRIL 30 2014. HaMaavir Shaina, Class Three Part One. This class introduces the actual translation of the words of this Bracha based on the Kabbalah (of the RaMaK and the SheLA and the MaharI”D) It is all about opening our eyes and being individuals and free and therefore dealing with the Yetzer HaRa etc.
