Chapter 38-39. This is the first of two classes. The Rabbi divided the level of “KAVANA” into 4 levels (only three appear explicitly in the Tanya; the fourth is alluded to at the end of chapter 40 in a note). This class addresses the lower two: 1. Kavana rooted in Tmimus (sincerity), 2. Kavana rooted in activating one’s nature (emotional nature) in being passionate about Torah and Mitzvos. MP3
