Classes

First Sicha.

Class One. Introduction, Purim is mesiras nefesh BiPoel, more than Shavuos, actions now in that direction. Page 24-5. Class Two. Purim represents a Golus time when order is abandoned. The lesson for us from this is that we should engage in learning Chassidus even while we’re still mastering Nigla. The Nigla example from simultaneously doing…

Second Sicha.

Class Three. Achasvairosh is alternatively an allusion to Hashem and to the physical Persian king. These two are actually in concert, for the reason that when a creation is representing Hashem in the performance of a miracle, he is, for the duration, God! Page 27-9. Class Four. The two extremes of Purim, from the highest…

Third Sicha.

Class Five. Renewing the custom (that is known as ‘Kupas Rabbeinu’) Tzedaka on the mind of the Rebbe RaShaB. The Rebbe encourages the bringing back of this minhag. Page 31-2.

Class Two.

The story of this marriage is very important and it was achieved by giving (a nose ring) Mitzvos and (Two bracelets that correspond to the Aseres HaDibros) Torah on the level of Chakika (engraving) Page 184.

Class Three.

Eved means Kabalas Ol, and the Torah in this case is Osiyos Hachakika, so the Bittul is on the level of Chakika. This is why this story is chosen to demonstrate Hashem’s love for ‘avdei batei Avos’. Page 185.

Class Four.

Smicha before the wedding, why? Halacha never changes. like marriage that is forever. Page 185-6.

Class Five.

Smicha before the Chassuna is like a shmira, similar to the idea that Yitzchok was in gan Eden until his Chassuna from the time of the Akaida. Page 186-7, 90.

Class Six.

Shmira from leumas ze outside of Gan Eden. Eretz Yisroel and chutz La’aretz, Nigla and Kabbalah (the Arizal perspired) Shabbos and the weekdays. Shmira for weddings so only good will come into the marriage. Page 188-90.
