Two Views of the Inner Meaning of the Chasuna (Wedding)
Posted: November 2, 2017
The first thing that happens between a couple is their wedding – is it superficial or a microcosm of their whole life together? This class is a comparison of two ma’amarim (discourses) on the (chasuna) wedding day. One from Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneerson (the previous Lubavitcher Rebbe) from 5689 (1928) and one from Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson (the Lubavitcher Rebbe) from 5714 (1953). Rabbi Paltiel speaks to a group of young men including a chosson (groom) in preparation for a wedding.
